Charm Cares
Health Technology for Social Impact
Charm Cares is a platform sponsored and established by Charm Health to enable enhanced quality of life, and to mitigate access inequalities through healthcare technology.
This platform describes our social impact initiatives in various arenas including our support of:

The BRAIN Foundation, a non-profit that supports research in neurodevelopmental disorders.

TechDreamers, a collaborative apprenticeship program for disadvantaged students to get access to training and jobs in the Tech industry.

Rural Telehealth services to improve access in economically disadvantaged parts of the world.

Providing medical research tools to further research in areas where adequate funding is not available.

Our support of free Telehealth services during the pandemic crisis.

Supporting healthcare accessibility in the US through partnership with community clinics.

The BRAIN Foundation
a California 501(c)(3) charity
Charm Health donates funds annually to support research in medical co-morbidities and novel rare disease treatment studies affecting some people with neuro-developmental disorders such as autism, intellectual disabilities etc. to lead to more FDA approved treatments. This research is performed in various leading medical research institutions such as Caltech, UCSD, UC Davis, Phoenix Childrens’ Hospital, St Peter’s Childrens, SUNY and other centers. Charm Health also sponsors an annual research symposium Synchrony, attended by hundreds of researchers, physicians and caregivers, with research reviews and round-table discussions to advance research.
TechDreamers
TechDreamers is a structured, paid apprenticeship, a replicable program, to train and place minorities and disadvantaged students in tech companies in Silicon Valley and beyond.
Our Vision: Our graduates serve as role models in their communities to encourage students of diverse backgrounds to aspire for a career in tech companies, and in turn, enrich tech companies with a more diverse workforce.

Research EDC Tools
Charm Health works with medical research groups in certain research areas to subsidize or provide Electronic Data Capture and Patient Reported Outcomes tools to support medical research in areas with inadequate federal funding. This includes basic sciences, treatment studies or biomarker discovery for novel rare disease pre-clinical studies.
“The generosity of Charm is astounding”
One thing that really has struck me about Charm is what a close knit community is built around that platform… it’s like a family!
